Amanda founded The Modern Maid in 2003, starting with little more than determination and a trunk full of supplies. Guided by the old-fashioned values her parents and grandparents instilled, she combined a passion for cleaning with timeless know-how to build a company focused on quality and care.
Since 2010, we've proudly operated out of our office at 165 E. Winter Street, in the heart of historic Delaware, Ohio. We're not a franchise — we're a local team, and when you call you reach someone who knows your home and your name.
Today, The Modern Maid continues to grow — now more than 20 technicians and a dedicated office team — blending Amanda's commitment to quality with the same personal touch that started it all.

Every month, The Modern Maid donates free cleaning visits to local cancer patients in active treatment. It's the work Amanda is most proud of, and it reflects the values she built this business on: that a clean, comfortable home is a dignity everyone deserves.
