Beyond cleaning —
a trusted presence

Elder Check-In & Companionship is one of the services closest to Amanda's heart. For seniors who live independently in Delaware County, regular visits from a familiar, trusted face can make an enormous difference — in safety, in spirit, and in peace of mind for the families who love them.

Our team doesn't just clean and leave. They sit down, they listen, they play cards, they help with small tasks that have become difficult. They're a presence — a connection — in a way no franchise can replicate.

Have questions?

Common questions

What does an Elder Check-In actually include?

Light housekeeping (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, tidying), a wellness check, conversation, and a written note back to family after every visit. Every visit is tailored — we ask families what matters most.

Is this just companionship, or is there cleaning too?

Both. Light housekeeping is part of every visit so the home stays comfortable. The visit isn't rushed — the team has time to sit, talk, and check in.

Who provides the Elder Check-In service?

Our office team personally vets every team member who provides elder care. The same one or two people visit each time so trust builds. These visits require a higher level of care than standard cleaning.

How long is a typical visit?

Usually 60–90 minutes, but we customize based on the family's wishes. Some visits are quick check-ins; others are longer, especially if family wants the team to share a meal or run a small errand.

Can I arrange a trial visit first?

Yes — we encourage it. A trial visit lets your loved one get comfortable with the team before committing to a schedule.

Can family members schedule and pay from out of state?

Absolutely. A lot of our Elder Check-In families live out of state. We coordinate by phone or email, send post-visit notes, and accept payment from whoever's handling the bills.

How do we get started?

Call us directly at (740) 272-0017 or fill out the contact form. Elder care is personal and we want to talk through the details with you before scheduling anything.

What areas do you serve for elder care?

Delaware, Powell, Westerville, Lewis Center, Sunbury, Galena, and surrounding Delaware County communities.

Is this service covered by insurance or VA benefits?

We're not a licensed home health agency, so this service is private pay. Many families use it alongside other support like home health aides or Medicare-covered services. Call us to discuss your situation.
